In fact. it’s the closest to red of any bigleaf hydrangea. The red is so saturated and intense that it won’t turn purple or blue. even if conditions exist for it do so. making it the ideal choice for those who absolutely positively want a pink/red hydrangea. It never outgrows its space. so never needs pruning and you never need to sacrifice blooms to control its size. Glossy foliage resists disease so it always looks beautiful.
